It goes without saying that a high level of respect will be shown to you and the property you own and its surroundings, which includes your neighbours. We will (if required) keep them informed at all times if a delivery is expected, if a petrol cutter is to be operated creating lots of dust or even if a pneumatic drill is about to be operated as this can reach noise levels exceeding 90db. We understand that when a job is completed we leave but they will still be your neighbours, so any disturbance caused or problems someone has with a builder could potentially be reflected on you. This will not be an issue if you use Northampton Builders.

Most work will also need approval under the Building Regulations. Sometimes building work may involve a party wall, i.e. a wall on a boundary between two properties. Under the Party Wall Act 1996, notice must be given to adjoining owners about this work. Contact us if you need advice on current legislations and rules.
