Neil Stuart Design Blacksmith

Neil is a third generation blacksmith that has worked worldwide on many varied and interesting projects over a 50 year period and has been based in East London for the last 10 years.

September last year I was invited by Stepney City Farm to set up my business in their new rural crafts centre, as I have had a very long and happy career in blacksmithing the one thing I still want to do is pass on the skills of the trade. The farm has given the perfect opportunity to provide good quality affordable tuition and enjoy the teaching and learning experience.

Stepney City Farm is a hub of community activity nestling next to the beautiful 900 year old St. Dunstans Church, Stepney Green, just a stones throw from the Gherkin and the hustle & bustle of the city and Whitechapel Market.
