Great Houghton School

Welcome to Great Houghton Preparatory School where the children are at the heart of our community. The school was founded in 1955 and caters for pupils from the ages of 9 months to 13 years. It is located at Great Houghton Hall, a Georgian property set in 26 acres of land on the outskirts of Northampton.

The school consists of a Nursery department for 74 pupils and a two form entry from Reception to Year 8 where we maintain an adult: pupil ratio of 1:8 within the Early Years. Class sizes within the Prep school are small ensuring that all pupils are able to reach their maximum potential .There are currently 285 pupils on roll.
