Clare Turner Tutoring

My name is Clare Turner and I'm a well-qualified, creative and enthusiastic private tutor. I received Qualified Teacher Status in 2006 and have an enhanced CRB check.



My Qualifications are as follows:

â€Â¢PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics
â€Â¢PGCE in mathematics
â€Â¢MEng in aerospace engineering
I also have experience in:

â€Â¢Classroom teaching ages 11-16
â€Â¢Tutoring undergraduates at the University of Manchester
â€Â¢Involvement in the Volunteer Reading Help Scheme
I tutor levels of mathematics from Key Stage 3 onwards. This includes GCSE and A-level maths, plus mathematics for engineering. Since performing well in exams is a skill in itself, I also give tuition for exam preparation.



During my PhD I tutored undergraduate aerospace and mechanical engineers. My expertise is in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD); however, I have also tutored 1st year fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and mathematics modules.
