Since opening in 1985, we have effortlessly converted customers to the Boilerhouse experience. What exactly is it that makes us stand apart?

Unique, in-house training, from the ground up. All our staff are trained from scratch the Boilerhouse way. Our rigorous 4 year training scheme covers all aspects of hairdressing; once completed, ongoing training keeps our staff abreast of evolving hair fashion and techniques.


Emphasis on hair cutting, not styling. Our philosophy when cutting hair is to create a great cut that is manageable at home and will continue to look good without the attentions of a professional.


Our team. No less than nine professional stylists, complemented by a team of three colour technicians, make for some of the best cutting and colouring in the region.


We make time for you. All clients are allocated a 45 minute timeslot, giving us time to pay you the attention you deserve throughout your hairdressing experience.


Quality refreshments! We have an extensive range of complementary drinks including various teas and coffees, squash, mineral water, beers, wines and even bucks fizz.....


No hidden extras! You pay what the price list says.


Products. We stock an extensive range of Schwarzkopf and Paul Mitchell products to complement your haircut.
