York Gliding Centre Ltd

The York Gliding Centre is a friendly club situated on an airfield just outside the historic city of York. For the beginner (or merely interested) we can offer trial lessons or training from ab initio, with a full club fleet available for follow-on training. For the experienced glider pilot we offer an excellent base for exploring the pennine wave- or just enjoy the local thermals.
