Melrose Guest House

The Melrose Guesthouse (Bed & Breakfast), in Ambleside is personally run by owners Lynn and Alan Salter. Since 2006, when they bought the property they have been dedicated to renovating and modernising the traditional lakeland slate property, built circa 1880. There is now a sense of old meets new, which provides a relaxing and calming feel. The house boasts many Victorian features such as the stunning 'Red room' Victorian fireplace, which takes centre-stage and is marvelled by all.
