I am a professionally trained and qualified photographer who has been working in the profession for twenty five years.
My original background was as a travel photographer working freelance for magazines, book publishers and picture libraries.
I went to art college for five years and specialised in documentary, photojournalism and editorial/corporate portraiture and this is where my love of photographing people grew.
After leaving my formal training I assisted many top leading photographers in London whilst at the same time building on my own portfolio.
Like many professional photographers I fell into weddings by accident. I was invited to cover friends weddings and work clients and from this my first portfolio of wedding photography started. I soon realised that this area of photography suited me perfectly as I love the mix between the photojournalistic approach and the skilled portrait opportunities.
